Zillow?

Has anyone else noticed that Zillow hasn't updated any house prices for the last three weeks (since 9/15/06)? What's up over there? Frustrating for financial markets junkies like me! Zillow is a great easy to use service though it has its quirks like not updating past estimates when new information becomes available which can lead the trends in prices to be very unreliable. Hope this lack of updating doesn't signal some trouble with this enterprise.

Hey m00m, it's David from Zillow.

We recently made changes to the website that required moving databases around and restarting our import and zestimate processes. I'm told that fresh sales data and regular data imports and calculations will be running again by next Tuesday (10/10).

I'm sorry for the inconvenience and hope you'll give the new features a try: for REI's, we've added the ability to save your portfolio of homes and your estimates together with updated home facts.

No troubles here, just a few growing pains. Thanks for your patience.

Great news. Sorry if I put any concern into anyone's mind. Amazing how fast you responded to this comment of mine...

Wow, Zillow got back to you fast! Too bad I can't get a similar response from those at Barrons. :)
