Overall, hedge funds gained 1.82% vs. a 8.17% gain in global equities. As a result of the latter, short bias funds performed worst. HFRX gained 1.23% for the month.

Hi I have a question for you. After 2 years of travelling I am coming back to Australia and I want to start investing my money wisely. I am completely new to the topic of investments and I was wondering if you could recommend a book I could read that would be a good starting point. There is lots of books on the market but I'm not sure how to choose. I'll appreciate you help. M
That's a great question. I haven't really been in the market for such books any time recently and so not sure what is available about investing in Australia. I did buy one book a couple of years ago about superannuation. The rules on super have changed recently more than once and ti is important to understand the super vs. non-super investment decision. I'll post a blogpost on this and ask for recommendations.
